Product Data Coordinator - 12 Month Contract

Primary Role of This Position

In this dynamic role, reporting to the Supervisor, Product Data Services, the Product Data Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring our product data information is always current and accurate, regularly update and verify product pricing to ensure our systems reflect the latest, most competitive information, seamless onboarding of new items, and the proactive management of vendor information.
 

Major Responsibilities

+ Ensure the accurate and complete setup of all new items in the system by reviewing and validating product details
+ Implement approved changes to product master data with precision and accountability
+ Liaise with Key Accounts on new item set-up requests and information specific to account groups
+ Confirm formulary inclusion status and appropriately tag items within the system
+  Build and format Excel files for product pricing updates, ensuring smooth uploads into the system
+ Analyze, review, and communicate changes regarding products related to pricing and attributes
+ Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies tied to pricing issues promptly
+ Conduct regular gross margin analysis to support pricing accuracy and profitability monitoring
+ Respond to Customer Service, Key Accounts, and Manufacturer Relations inquiries related to pricing and/or set-up issues
+ Collaborate with the business to identify and resolve data integrity issues
+   Create and maintain documentation related to Standard Operating Procedures and process flows

 

Education and Experience

+ Post-secondary education preferred
+ 2 to 5 years of related experience
 

Qualifications

+ Exceptional attention to detail and strong time management
+ Must be able to work independently with limited supervision
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking
+ Ability to communicate effectively and in a professional manner
+ Ability to work cooperatively as a team
+ High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
+ Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience
