Primary Role of This Position The primary role of the Training Lead, PMO, is to develop and deliver customized technical and corporate training programs designed to improve employee skills, increase productivity, and drive company success. The Training Lead will work closely with the Change Manager and various Kohl & Frisch departments to assess training needs, create customized online and classroom training, and facilitate engaging and effective training sessions. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for leading and supporting training deliverables for external stakeholders while ensuring consistency and alignment with K&F’s brand. The Training Lead will have a strong background in internal and external training with a keen eye for detail and ability to manage multiple training initiatives at one time.
Major Responsibilities
Collaborate with key stakeholders to assess skill gaps and prioritize training needs
Develop detailed training plans and content that address both technical skills and corporate competencies, such as leadership, communication, and compliance
Design and develop high-quality, engaging, and effective internal and customer training materials, such as manuals, reference guides, presentations, and videos
Utilize various learning formats (in-person, virtual, e-learning) to ensure diverse learning preferences are met
Incorporate adult learning principles and interactive activities into training programs.
Engage SME’s in establishing a Train-the-Trainer model to implement and support training to ensure skills are applied effectively in the workplace
Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and processes, ensuring maximum engagement and knowledge retention
Manage the end-to-end training process, including scheduling, tracking attendance, certifications, and ensuring resources are available
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using surveys, feedback, and performance metrics
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or diploma with specialization in training or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in training, learning and development, or a related field
Proven ability to design, develop and deliver training programs in a corporate setting
Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics Finance & Operations, e-learning platforms and Learning Management Systems (LMS) a plus
Proficiency in French language a plus
